Many Indonesian workers who pass the EPS-TOPIK exam do not rely on extreme study schedules. Instead, they follow a consistent and realistic routine over six months. The key is not long study hours, but steady daily practice of one to two hours.
During the first two months, the focus is on building a foundation. Learners aim to memorize around 1000 to 1500 essential vocabulary words commonly used in workplace settings such as factories and safety instructions. Passive listening is also introduced to help the ear get used to Korean sounds.
In months three and four, the focus shifts to comprehension. Listening practice becomes the most important component, as it often determines success in the exam. Learners begin solving practice questions and gradually recognize common patterns in the test.
The final two months are dedicated to score improvement. Candidates repeatedly review past exam questions and take timed mock tests. At this stage, many start reaching safe scores above 70 points.
A typical daily routine includes 30 minutes of vocabulary study, 30 to 40 minutes of listening practice, and 30 minutes of solving questions. For those working in Taiwan, this can be split into short sessions before and after work. With a total of 150 to 300 study hours, passing EPS-TOPIK becomes a realistic and achievable goal.
