Most Indonesian workers are employed in domestic work, construction, and service sectors. Salaries typically range from 400 to 1200 USD per month, depending on the role. Skilled workers such as technicians or welders can earn significantly more, sometimes exceeding salaries in parts of Asia.
A key benefit is the provision of accommodation and meals, along with tax-free income. This allows workers to save a larger portion of their earnings compared to countries with higher living costs.
